Description

NH70 MOVEMENT

The Seiko NH70 Movement is becoming increasingly popular for the simple fact, everyone loves a skeleton! In most opinions nothing quite catches the eye, like this beautiful movement. Seiko’s NH70 is based off of the NH35 and belongs to the NH family of movements, which means it includes hacking and hand-winding capabilities. However, unlike the NH35 it only has 2 crown positions much like the NH38; first position wind, second position is time set.

What sets the NH70 apart is, unlike the NH3x movements, the NH70 comes with Côtes de Genève finishing on the rotor! Undoubtedly gorgeous, This finish, known as ‘Geneva stripes’ in English, looks like small parallel waves carefully crafted on the oscillating weight by Seiko. This is a high quality beautiful finishing that used to be a staple in Geneva horology.

Furthermore, there are no worries about hand choices as all the hands on our site will fit the NH70 movement. Also, once the gray spacer (sold separately) is installed it will fit into any case that accepts NH3x movements!
